Join us for a relaxed and welcoming portrait workshop at The Nook, suitable for teens / adults and abilities — whether you’re a complete beginner or already love to draw and paint.

Led by artist Jules Mason, this workshop offers as much guidance and support as you’d like, while also giving you the freedom to explore your own style and ideas at your own pace.

Bring along a clear photo you’d like to work from, use one of our reference images, or work digitally from your iPad or phone. Together we’ll explore the foundations of portrait drawing and painting, including how to tackle those tricky features like eyes, noses, proportions and expressions in a fun, approachable way.
