These terms apply to all bookings made with Your Art Connect CIC (“Your Art Connect”, “we”, “us”). By making a booking via our website, email or other agreed booking method, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms.
1. About these terms
These terms set out what applies when you book and attend a Your Art Connect session, workshop, event or programme. They are designed to ensure sessions are safe, fair and accessible for all participants, staff and volunteers.

2. Making a booking
- All sessions must be booked in advance.
- Bookings are usually made via the booking portal on our website. Where someone is unable to access this system, alternative arrangements may be agreed at the discretion of a Director.
- A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.
- If you do not receive a confirmation email, you must contact us before attending.
- Each booking is for one session only and cannot be split or transferred to another person or event.
- Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
3. Age requirements
- You must be aged 16 or over to make a booking.
- Some sessions have specific age ranges or attendance conditions. These will be clearly stated at the point of booking.
- Parental or carer consent is required where applicable.
4. Payment
- Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all sessions require payment.
- Payment must be made in advance via the online booking system.
- We do not accept payment by cheque or telephone.
- We can send you our bank details directly if you cant use the online system.
5. Cancellations, non-attendance and refunds
Participant cancellations
- All bookings are non-refundable.
- If you are unable to attend, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible so that we can manage waiting lists.
Non-attendance
- If you do not attend a session without notice, this will be recorded as a non-attendance.
- If you do not attend a session with notice, you will not be refunded or able to use that money towards future bookings unless discussed with directors.
- Where a pattern of non-attendance or late cancellation is identified, Your Art Connect reserves the right to restrict or refuse future bookings.
Cancellation by Your Art Connect
- If we need to cancel a session, a full refund will be issued.
- In rare circumstances, sessions may be relocated; where this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible.
6. Attendance, behaviour and participation
Your Art Connect aims to provide a safe, inclusive and respectful environment.
By attending a session, you agree to:
- Treat other participants, staff and volunteers with respect
- Follow all health and safety guidance provided
- Use materials and equipment safely and appropriately
We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave a session immediately if their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or places themselves or others at risk. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.
7. Health, safety and materials
- Sessions may involve the use of art materials, tools or equipment. Such as spray paint, sharps and chemicals.
- Participants must follow guidance on safe use at all times.
- Certain materials (including sharps or substances covered by COSHH regulations) will only be used under appropriate supervision.

8. Safeguarding
Your Art Connect operates in line with robust child protection and adult safeguarding policies.
- Staff and volunteers are recruited following safer recruitment practices and hold appropriate enhanced DBS checks.
- No adult staff member or volunteer will be left alone with a child or vulnerable adult unless it is a 1-1 session.
- We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw access to sessions where participation would present a significant safeguarding risk.
9. Health information and access needs
We aim to make sessions as accessible as possible.
- Please inform us in advance of any access needs, medical conditions, allergies or concerns.
- We will discuss reasonable adjustments where possible.
- In some circumstances, where attendance would pose a significant risk to the individual or others, we may be unable to offer a place and will signpost to more appropriate support.
10. Photography and media
- Photography or recording may take place at some sessions for promotional or documentation purposes.
- Written consent will always be obtained before photographing or recording children, young people or vulnerable adults.
- Participants may opt out of photography at any time.
11. Property and personal belongings
- Participants must not damage or interfere with property belonging to Your Art Connect, venues or others.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to sessions.
12. Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot legally be excluded.
- Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time of booking.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of booking will apply.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
